Int'l Day of Women and Girls in Science

Join us for a global event celebrating women in science and shaping a future where science and gender equality advance together. The 2026 theme is “From vision to impact: Redefining STEM by closing the gender gap”.

During this session, the Committee will adopt the work plan and calendar for its future activities (2026–2027), in line with the five strategic orientations set by the Conference of Parties at its tenth session in June 2025. The Committee will focus on collaboration with civil society organizations for an effective and participatory implementation of the Convention, by reviewing the conclusions and recommendations of the fifth edition of the Civil Society Forum.
Launch of 4th Re|Shaping Policies for Creativity report

Twenty years after governments and civil society gathered at UNESCO to adopt the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions, the report will offer timely assessment of how that shared vision is being translated into policy-led action today. The launch event, held in person with live streaming, will bring together leading authors and specialists from across the cultural and creative industries to unveil this new edition of the UNESCO report.
